Faith United Methodist Church believes that worship is an important part of being a Christian.
We offer praise and thanks through a traditional worship service on Sunday mornings at 10:30 that includes inspiring anthems from the chancel choir, community prayers, Scripture reading, and receiving the Word. There is no dress code, we only ask that everyone be fully clothed! Bibles and hymnals are provided, and a large screen displays song lyrics and Scripture verses to guide the congregation throughout the worship service. Coffee and juice are offered in the foyer before worship, but please, no food or drink in the Sanctuary.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month, and during other special worship times throughout the year.
The Sacrament of Baptism, for infants, children, and adults, is offered on an as-needed basis. Please visit with the pastor for more information.
Faith United Methodist Church loves having children in worship! Children are an important part of any vital congregation. During the worship service a special Children's Time is provided especially for the young and young at heart. In addition, children also offer their own service to God and the congregation by becoming acolytes (lighting the worship candles), singing in the choir, and reading Scripture.
If you are worried about your children making noise or misbehaving during worship, don't be! Christ said "Let the little children come to me," not "Keep them quiet in church," and Faith UMC is dedicated to welcoming even the youngest Christians! A nursery is provided for the littlest among us (infants, toddlers, children 5 and under) who may need a nap, diaper change, or a place to get away from the parents for a bit.
